Transferring used car ownership

So, you want to sell off your used car yourself without agent? Let me tell you what happened in the last two weeks when I sold off my car and went through all the process.

Case: I sold my car as I am buying a new car. Insurance NCD was transferred from old car to my new car.

1. Advertise your car and get a serious buyer

2. Examine your car at PUSPAKOM, it costs RM30 for ownership transfer. You will get a report

3. Ask the buyer to purchase car insurance policy under his name. He will need your car registration card. At this point, your old car will have two active insurance policy. This is fine

4. Get your money, go to JPJ and fill up a vehicle ownership transfer form, and go to the counter. Both previous and new owner will need to do thumb print verification, and to pay RM40. Be sure to bring the car registration card and PUSPAKOM report. New owner name will be printed on the car registration card

5. Trade done! Now, you can go and cancel your old car insurance policy, they will reimburse the premium. Tell the insurance company that you would like to transfer the NCD to your new car, and they will give you a document. You will hand this document to your new car agent

6. Car agent will reimburse your new car insurance policy discount back to you. For me, they issued a cheque

7. Lastly, I drove my new car to the bank to sign my hire purchase agreement. DONE!

Time travel, you can probably prove it

Have you ever wonder that someday in the future, time travel will be possible? Either you believe it or not, some team, probably in NASA or US Defense are doing this research. I don't get an idea what is that specific criteria to achieve time traveling, but I do think that by traveling beyond light speed does not bring you to the future.

Years back, I started to have a thought: Why not we just prove that time travel is possible first, before we go for the solution of achieving it. Huh? Yes, I mean it, and I might have a method for that.

Right now, you swear to yourself that you will have your descendant to visit you next month first Sunday at Starbucks Coffee at 12 noon. If he shows up, then time travel is possible. Sounds pretty simple? No it doesn't, it is extremely difficult to have this strong self determination, to pass on the message from generation to generation, maybe 100 times down... Yes, it is not for simple man, but however, if you are extremely wealthy, I might have a suggestion for you.

You invest $10 Billion, to be taken care by a renown will firm. You write a will to your descendants to pass on the 'message' to the next chosen generation when he is 50-year-old, and he will get 1% of the $10 Billion, and the next generation does the same thing, goes on and on... When the technology is finally there, that descendant of yours will get all the money, and he will travel back in time to meet you. Cool?
